The Difference Between Burkes Beach and Folly Field Beach on Hilton Head Island SC
Updated: Sep 19, 2019
If you are planning an elopement or small wedding on a Hilton Head Island beach, you may be wondering what the difference between the beaches are. Coligny is in the heart of the resorts and tourist area. Fish Haul Beach is the most secluded. But what about Burke Beach and Folly Field Beach?
Burkes Beach
Located behind the Chaplin Community Park. There is street side parking, or parking in the park.
As you travel down the natural beach path you will be able to view the marsh and possibly some wildlife.
And of course, the view of the beach!!
Folly Field Beach
This beach is very close to a couple of resorts and condos. Parking is limited.
The boardwalk twists and turns over the sand dunes to the beach.
Having your wedding ceremony close to the sand dunes adds a pretty element for photos as well as a bit of privacy.
Both beaches have pros and cons. The choice of which beach to have your elopement or small wedding on is your preference! We offer different elopement packages as well as a custom package! Contact us today to reserve your beach elopement!!
